Myspace to Be Sold to Specific Media for $35... →
soupsoup:
The price is well below the $100 million that News Corp. had been hoping for and a chasm away from its one-time billion valuation.
The deal includes a halfing of Myspace’s staff of 400, as well as other cost cuts. It’s likely Myspace CEO Mike Jones and other top staff will remain only for an interim period.

– After only a few days, we have our first real world test. It is technically possible to host a tumblr blog on a server yet still use tumblr. The note count will be off a little, but a combination of Cloud flare, a custom domain, and a server can fix a lot of reliability issues with tumblr blogs.

Dear Tumblr: Rather than sit here and bash incompetence
#1. People can send messages as another user by URL spoofing (or whatever it is called) This means that the only way to fix the issues with spam, is to delete the spammers. Users arent always actually sending out spam and accounts havent always been comprimised.
#2. Blocking url links in messages simply forces a spammer into phase 2. IT...

By not allowing me to buy new maps for COD:BO? What’s next curing cancer by knocking my ice cream cone to the ground?
Note from Ron: I can’t explain why this made me laugh as hard as it did. It just did.

Note from Ron: I never really talk openly about this, but I refuse to have beliefs or tinker with things I would consider faith. So when it comes to ghosts, crop circles, the Loch Ness Monster, etc. I think that stuff can be entertaining but dangerous if taken serious. This applies especially to children. I honestly...

I didn’t. I did someone else’s job out of frustration because they haven’t.
If I, or anyone outside of Tumblr is the person that has to warn users of a problem, that in itself is a problem. How Tumblr has not yet simply notified users of this issue while support has attempted to fix it for the last few days is tough to understand.
