To anyone thankful for Obama’s support of gay marriage; It is currently the year 2012. I personally find it shameful that it has taken this long for a President to publicly support same sex marriage. I find it hard to believe that any diverse, educated and understanding human being could have the ability to oppose it in 2012. I refuse to say thank you to Obama for taking this viewpoint far behind the curve. I mean, even Dick Cheney has supported gay marriage for years.
If you are an adult American, and you do not understand that any one persons religious beliefs should not be able to infringe on the rights of another person, you should consider reading the constitution or re-reading it next to someone that can explain it to you. If that doesn’t work, sit down and ask yourself how you would feel if another person was allowed to dictate how you were allowed to love someone. Would their opinion matter at all?
It is the year 2012. We are smart enough as a people to understand that everyone deserves equal rights. Let’s stop patting people on the backs for just now deciding not to be on the asshole side of an opinion.

How many people have noticed dead pages (url’s and in the dash when posting sometimes) on the first try today but after a refresh things work fine? It seems to be a tumblr issue with Google Chrome.
