"All good things in life come after risk, uncertainty, fear, and a couple spoonfuls of panic and pain - it’s just a normal sign that you are evolving yourself. The people who let the fear keep them from DOING are the ones who sit around in their hometown playing xbox live — nothing scary about that at all. So they sit, they fester, and their dreams remain things that happen when they fall asleep, not things they spend their day pursuing."

I just wrote that in an email and it seemed kind of smart. (via justin)
Note from Ron: This is why I love you so sir. I said something tonight to someone that I’ve always believed that is along the lines of this. You can’t really know who you are, until you have done the things to figure out who you aren’t. The desire some people have to not want to try something in which they know nothing about amazes me. How can you evolve if you do the same things over an over?
That said, I took a leak outside tonight and about halfway through I looked up and realized my neighbor was outside across from me. So my advice might be shit.
brianfeldman replied to your post: Things that are annoying:
The “Taken with Instagram” is involuntary. The software does that automatically.
Note from Ron: Yeah. I know. Does that change the fact that it is ugly, annoying and useless? Just because something is free/easy, that doesn’t mean it is good.

as well as “Taken with instagram” showing up on a post.
Can anyone explain the value in a bare instagram link to a reader?
Can anyone explain the value in knowing what software you used to take a picture?
It’s ugly, the info has no value to a reader, it has no function.
