Note from Ron: Though from chart to chart these rates vary, and in some countries the data is not reported as tightly as in the U.S. the rate of decrease in the U.S. hasn’t continued to fall like it should. In Angola it is around 180. That is one in every 5.5 babies dying. By comparison, its 1 in every 150 in the U.S.
