I just want to throw this out there to everyone bitching about Zuckerberg winning Time’s person of the Year contest over Julian Assange.
#1. Last year Moot won by votes. Simple enough.
#2. Julian Assange was literally IN JAIL FOR RAPE WHEN THEY ANNOUNCED THE WINNER. Did you miss that? That’s a little anti-woman don’t you think? That is as crazy as if say President Obama won a Noble peace prize WHILE the United States was at war with… nevermind.

Yeah, it’s not technically supposed to be an honor, contrary to popular belief. Hence, Hitler winning in ‘38. It’s whoever has had the most effect on the world in that year, good, bad, or otherwise…which I definitely thinks goes to Assange.
