I did it!
276 hours in multiplayer aka 11.5 non-stop days worth of Call of Duty and I finally made it to 10th Prestige. My first time ever on any COD game getting to this point.
Am I proud? No. I am relieved though. I decided that if I ever made it to 10th Prestige that I would never play another COD game again. To let one game or franchise (even a great one) take up so much of your time makes it hard to enjoy gaming as a whole. I used to always look at people that called themselves ‘gamers’ who only played WoW or Halo non-stop and wonder why they gave themselves this moniker. That’s like watching nothing but Star Wars over an over and claiming that you are into film because of it.
A ‘gamer’ should attempt to play a diverse catalog of games if they want to understand, enjoy and support gaming. If not, don’t call yourself a gamer… also, stop blogging and complaining about how many remakes/sequels there are.
