Watching the new Top Gear and realized that Clarkson and May likely took time off because they are both pregnant.
Alex and I got to walk right next to Rubens Barrichello after the race on the way back to his team trailer.
While I try not to get excited over things like this because I don’t like to idolize anyone, I do admit that it was a bit of a big deal for me. So… while I still don’t think that any one person is better than the next, if a legend can stay a humble human being, it is tough to not admire that.
If you need another reason to like Barrichello, he was the first person to beat the Stig on Top Gear.
Did anyone catch Fifth Gears review of the McLaren MP4-12C versus Top Gears? Did McLaren send a different car to Top Gear?
I’m working on some web stuff this morning and watching back episodes of Top Gear again when I hear something familiar. The name Ben Collins. If you didn’t know, Ben was secretly “the Stig” for just over 6 years on Top Gear. Turns out he was a guest driver (car soccer) in episode one of season six.
